National Geographic is a constant source of inspiration for me! So, when in the Doctor's waiting room last week I read about a present day arctic exploration, I couldn't wait to get home and put it down in pencil! Luckily for me my boyfriend happened to have a series of postcards about Sir Ernest Shackleton's Expedition of 1914 and off I went. Really enjoyed this one (^_^)
love it; I started a watercolor of this photo yesterday, great job
reminds me a little bit of the isometric mountain-drawings. Just more alive and a great composition!
It's super, I like the sepia tone. Is it pencil? The linework is stunning, everything's just right.
Thanks! Yeah, just good old pencil, with a slight tweak on the tones on photoshop to correct the scanning process!
beautiful contrast in the shading, very well done and clean!
Thank you very much drummerboy (*_*)
